According to the Chicago Tribune, ABC Family has decided to pass on the comedy pilot starring Jennie.

and is made from fiery red leatherette which reflects the red color used to help raise heart disease awareness. Jennie Garth was inspired to design the shoe by her friend Lori who had a triple bypass surgery at the age of 39. As a tribute, the special shoe is named the “Lori.”

Jennie Garth added shoe designer to her résumé, teaming up with ShoeDazzle to create a red slingback pump for a cause. The “Lori” heels, which are named after her friend who had a triple bypass at the age of 39, will be available on shoedazzle.com for $39.95 starting February 14th (Valentine’s Day!). Sales of the shoes benefit The American Heart Association.

Reporter Rebecca Chandler (Jennie Garth) is expecting a marriage proposal from her boyfriend but instead gets dumped right before Christmas. Bitter and cynical, she heads to the small town of Hamden to uncover the identity of the mysterious man who is responsible for several good deeds. She immediately suspects the local millionaire (Steven Eckholdt) but as her investigation continues, she not only discovers the “Secret Santa” but the true gift of giving.

Peter Facinelli: I learn things all the time. They have these things now called dual flush toilets, they save water. You can change your light bulbs and use Energy Star light bulbs that reduce your bills also. It’s little things like that that I didn’t know before that I want to share with people. Building this green home, I’m hoping to share that with friends and we’re actually pitching a show to the Oprah network to document the building of this green home. I really want to get the word out there and show people how you can do it from the ground up.
